Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the Expedition Team to achieve departmental goals;
  • Development FTL lines (customers, carriers) between Baltic states and Western EU countries;
  • Playing an active role in managing the Customer Service;
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Develop strategies to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  •  Conduct regular strategic business reviews with carriers and improvement of the carriers base;
  • Implementing quality agreements with subcontractors;
  • Ability to work closely as a team, bringing issues up openly and timely;
  • Initiating meetings, training when necessary.

Requirements: 

  • At least 5 years of experience as forwarder for FTL;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader / Head of the divison;
  • Team management and leadership skills;
  • Cargo transportation experience between Baltic and Western countries ( FTL) ;
  • Experience in developing new lines;
  • Experience in strategy development, process design, and project delivery;
  • Problem solving and Issues analysis;
  • Be able to ask effective questions and collect facts from multiple sources in order to solve problems;
  • Strong communication skills and a positive mindset;
  • Good technical understanding both theoretical and from practice;
