Our Industrial Project Logistics Department is on course to become a household name, when it comes to being a leading Industrial Project Logistics provider. To achieve this goal, AIPL (AsstrA Industrial Project Logistics) is seeking an entrepreneurial-spirited individual to work alongside our Directors and Management Board.

Your tasks

As Deputy COO, you will take up a key role in the development of AsstrA’s future, especially of our Industrial project logistics department

  • Managing the product portfolio and operational performance in support of strategic objectives;
  • Create product strategy and product standards based on our business strategy and other inputs;
  • The implementation of the product strategy together with product and regional managers and industry best practices;
  • Lead AsstrA and supporting our strategic development, but also cultivating an ethical business, which encourages diversity in culture, personality and thought.
  • Promote the company globally, with clients and at conventions;
  • Provide support to our Chief Operations Officer for all operations, including industrial project logistics, freight forwarding, overland and overseas, freight brokerage, customs brokerage, and insurance brokerage.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who understands the effort required to fulfill these tasks and can motivate the Team to work towards our ambitious goals:

  • You are an expert in project cargo and understand operational intricacies and customer needs;
  • Leading comes naturally for you, and you have been in, at least, mid-level management positions for at least 10 years;
  • When it comes to our vision, you can make it your own and find creative angles on how to move successfully towards our goals;
  • A strategical way of thinking and strong analytical sense in business;
  • During your career, you have developed an extensive industry network, which is steadily growing;
  • You are willing to commit time & effort to AsstrA's development into a global logistics provider;
  • Ideally a technical or engineering background;
  • Ideally you have a academic degree in logistics and transportation management;
  • You are fluent in English, any further language is a strong benefit.
