Field Sales Specialist

Responsibilities:

 

  • Initially, this role operates from a home office or co-working, demanding a high level of self-organization and experience in a similar work mode.
  • Focus on sales of logistics services, establishing the company's presence in India, and collaborating closely with various divisions within AsstrA.
  • Lead Generation and Relationship Building: Utilize your expertise in logistics sales to connect and generate leads in India, leveraging recommendations from our other global offices.
  • Foster relationships with foreign companies with offices in India, tapping into the market's potential.
  • Engage with Decision Making Units (DMUs) in India, gather data from customs databases, initiate "cold" sales, conduct calls, schedule meetings, and efficiently record all interactions in our CRM system.
  • Actively participate in conferences and exhibitions, representing AsstrA and contributing to the establishment of our brand in the Indian market.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

  • Fluent in Hindi & English (B1+)
  • Proven experience in sales of logistics services
  • Strong communication skills, especially in handling interactions with foreign companies
  • Ability to work independently, drive results, and thrive in a remote work setup
  • Eagerness to contribute to the company's growth by pioneering our presence in India

By March 2024, our new office will be established in the Powai Region of Mumbai. This position initially operates remotely and will transition to office-based work.
