AsstrA Trans Inc. is looking for an experienced and dedicated Logistics Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a seasoned management position for individuals looking to continue to expand their knowledge and implementation in the logistics industry. The person will possess a sales book with outstanding sales experience, honed-in customer service skills, share our passion for technology, and be able to offer a variety of business solutions. We value account managers who are passionate about growing existing accounts while proactively pursuing new account relationships, all while identifying roadblocks and obstacles to increase current and prospective business productivity. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker, offering tailored solutions with dedication to expanding the business relationship and facilitating seamless transitions between our clients and our internal customer support team.
As you meet with current and future clients, it will be your responsibility to not only shine a light on a prospect’s supply chain inefficiencies, but to offer the catered business solutions that AsstrA Trans is known for. Responsibilities/Duties
- Educating customers about our shipping solutions;
- Conducting research on customers that have a need for our services;
- Cold-calling, generating new leads and prospecting accounts;
- Qualifying prospects for size, complexity, and overall fit for our company;
- Using sales automation tools to track progress and report goals;
- Analyzing consumer needs and developing innovative solutions.
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma/GED required (bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics & Supply Chain, or a related field preferred);
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in logistics, sales, or a related field required;
- Must have an existing book of business;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve;
- Knowledge of current marketing and advertising trends and best practices;
- Proficient in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office and Excel;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills;
- Demonstrable business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes;

Compensation/Schedule
- Hours: Full-time;
- Schedule: Monday-Friday;
- Position Type: Inside/Remote Sales;
- Wage/Salary: Salary plus commission based on experience;
