Ocean Freight Manager

Responsibilities:

  •        Responsibility for the timely entry of data, events in the TMS system and attachment of documents in related systems;
  •        Tracking the status of cargo, informing the relevant departments;
  •         Coordinating or conducting port operations;
  •         Organization and managing ocean container freight and inland delivery;
  •         Responsibility for the development of TEUs cargo traffic into and from S. Korea;
  •         Development of transport solutions and building a service for customers or groups of customers;
  •         Search for new suppliers and solutions on the market;
  •         Building up the relationships with major carriers and inland carriers, maintaining constant and beneficial connection;
  •         Ensuring interaction with shipping lines, ports, truckers and key contractors.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Confident knowledge of the maritime transportation market;
  •          Knowledge and work with key market players in maritime transportation in the countries of departure and/or arrival of goods;
  •         Experience working with large clients;
  •         Experience in quotations and making complex offers for clients;
  •          Bachelor’s degree;
  •         Foreign language – Korean, English, Russian will be an advantage;
  •        Confident knowledge of PC (MS Office): Power Point, Excel;
  •         Customer orientation;
  •         Good level of negotiation and presentation skills;
  •         Self-motivation and energy;
  •        Result-oriented mindset.
